08 FebVistajet projects more growth from Asian market

Vistajet, the world’s second largest private aviation company, is forecasted to see further growth in its industry in Asia and the Middle East. In 2009, the company’s revenue grew by an impressive 20 percent and Vistajet says that it is already taking six aircraft deliveries this year. Asia is projected to lead the recovery of the global aviation sector, and Vistajet sees it as a ket region for its expansion. “Asia is very important, I think for any company in the world now, Asia is a very strong focus,” said Adrien Chazottes, vice-president of VistaJet at the Asia-Pacific region

04 FebAsia Pacific Superyacht Association to be Formed Soon

There has been some positive news for the yacht industry with respect to a superyacht association for the entire region of Asia Pacific region. A recent meeting during the Thailands PIMEX boat show amongst the professionals of more than 25 superyacht industry was held to discuss the establishment of a superyacht association. Though, individually, countries like Australia, Indonesia and Singapore have their own superyacht associations, there is a dire need for an association which represents the entire region. Reports indicate that the participants at the meeting agreed towards setting up an association and decided to start working on it.
